• Park captures title at Taiwan LPGA

TAIPEI: World No.1 Park In-Bee fired a one-under par 71 for a 22-under total of 266 to capture her third LGPA Tour title this season in Taipei, holding off a powerful charge from American Stacy Lewis. Lewis, currently world No.2 and four shots behind overnight leader Park into the final round, carded 69 but it was not enough to overtake the South Korean in the $2.0 million Fubon LPGA Taiwan Championship at the Miramar Country Club. With Lydia Ko finishing third at 17-under thanks to a final round 66, the trio of top women golfers ended in the same order as their rankings.
