SOME portions of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) will be closed to traffic starting midnight on Tuesday until 4 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 25) for the celebration of the 29th EDSA People Power anniversary.
Specifically, the stretch of EDSA northbound from Shaw Boulevard to Santolan will be closed to all types of vehicles.

*Right at Shaw Blvd. to C5 to destination
*Right at J. Vargas Ave. to C5 to destination
From EDSA southbound:
*Right to Santolan, left turn to Ortigas Ave. right turn to Wilson, left at P. Guevarra and Shaw Blvd., right turn to EDSA to point of destination.
The following roads will be closed to traffic:
In EDSA, Shaw Boulevard to Santolan and all perpendicular roads from east side: Internal Avenue, Garden Way, Julia Vargas, Bank Drive, Guadix, Poveda, Ortigas Avenue, Corinthian Subdivision Gate 2, White Plains, and Santolan.
Also closed to traffic are the Meralco-Ortigas Junction (southbound) and Ortigas Ave.-Connecticut (northbound) in Ortigas Avenue and Whiteplains-Katipunan (southbound).
MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino said a total of 1,104 of the agency’s traffic and clearing operations personnel will be on hand to man traffic along EDSA.
“They will also guide motorists traversing the alternate routes and will strictly supervise the execution of the traffic management plan that will sustain the unimpeded flow of vehicles,” said Tolentino.
