Some parts of Tarlac and Nueva Ecija will experience a 10-hour power interruption on Thursday. According to the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP), the power interruption will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Among the affected areas are Bamban, Capas, Concepcion and La Paz in Tarlac, and Zaragoza in Nueva Ecija that are being serviced by distribution utility Tarlac II Electric Cooperative Inc. (TARELCO II). The power shutdown will facilitate the dismantling of unused structures at Concepcion Substation simultaneous with TARELCO II’s Concepcion-La Paz and Concepcion-Capas 69kV line maintenance. NGCP’s customers and the general public are advised to take the necessary preparations and precautions for this scheduled interruption.
