The successful afternoon ABS-CBN drama, Pasion de Amor, which, despite its suggestive plots has never been sanctioned by MTRCB, is gearing up for its final four weeks.
The entire cast made the announcement on Friday but nevertheless promised a month-long serving of “unpredictable twists, intense emotions, and passion-filled romance,” beginning Monday.
Lead stars Arci Munoz, Ellen Adarna, Collen Garcia, Jake Cuenca, Ejay Falcon, and Joseph Marco collectively said they were grateful to both their creative team and their viewers for allowing the show several extensions, despite the fact the story is an adaptation of a Colombian teledrama, titled Pasion de Gavilanes.
According to director —–, they still sought the franchise holder’s approval for the new twists as well as character introductions they made through the course of the series, which is why they were also confident they had a hit in their hands.
Since Pasion de Amor started airing in June 2015, the adaptation has consistently topped national ratings, hitting an all-time high of 29.2 percent in October, based on figures released by Kantar Media. It also regularly lands in the Top 10 spots of the most watched programs in the country.
