As part of its 83rd anniversary celebration, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) in collaboration with the Philippine Racing Club, Inc. again conducted an Anniversary Race held on October 22 at the Sta. Ana Park in Naic, Cavite.
Present during the event were PCSO Racing Committee Vice Chairman Desoto Tupaz, members Orlando Malaca, Reynaldo Empremiado and Daniel Valmonte and the committee secretariat.
Also came to witness the race were PCSO Treasury Department Manager Alegria Asuit, PCSO Draw Operations Chief Ariel De Ocampo and Wally Ignacio of the Sweepstakes Employees Union (SEU).
The horses were five-year old Dinalupihan, four-year-old Space Needle, four-year-old Pinagtipunan, seven-year-old Hot and Spicy and four-year-old Sky Dancer.
Owned by George Raquidan and trained by F.G. Fernandez,
Hot and Spicy with jockey R.G. Fernandez won the 2017 PCSO Anniversary Race. They received a cash prize of P800,000 and a trophy.
This year’s PCSO Anniversary Race is for the benefit of Kappa Epsilon Fraternity.
