• PCSO holds forum in Pampanga

For local residents to know the programs and services they can avail and also to know the extent of assistance it has already extended to those in need, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) conducted a forum with the officials of the Province of Pampanga on November 17.

Called “Sama-samang Talakayan At Linawan,” the forum was led by General Manager Alexander Balutan and Governor Lilia Pineda. Also present was Deputy Director for Operations PSupt. Angelito Esteban in behalf of Provincial Director PSSupt. Joel Rentoy.

Officials of the national gaming and fund-raising agency for charity came in full force to support the forum, namely Assistant General Manager (AGM) for Gaming, Product Development and Marketing Sector Conrado Zabella, AGM for Branch Operations Sector Remeliza Jovita Gabuyo, AGM for Charity Larry Cedro, AGM for Management Services Sector Lauro Patiag and AGM for Administrative Sector Julieta Aseo.

Also present were branch managers of Northern and Central Luzon with Department manager Laila Galang, provincial and local government officials of Pampanga, and some national and local media.

In his message, GM Balutan shared what PCSO has done so far under the Duterte presidency including the agency’s contribution to the province. Gov. Pineda, meanwhile, expressed her utmost gratitude to PCSO’s assistance to the residents of Pampanga. She said this was what motivated her to give PCSO a permanent “house” in the province.

All queries and concerns from reporters were positively addressed by GM Balutan and other PCSO officials during the media hour.

The forum in Pampanga was the third Sama-samang Talakayan At Linawan held after Metro Manila and Davao City.

PCSO hopes that in holding activities like this, people even in remote places would know what the agency has done so far under the leadership of President Rodrigo Duterte.
