PCSO suspends lotto draws

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Tuesday announced the temporary suspension of lotto draws for four days.

The move, according to PCSO, will give way for the observance of Holy Week.

“There will be no selling of lotto tickets and no lotto draws for four days in observance of Holy Week,” it said.

The suspension of the state-run lottery will start from April 2 (Maundy Thursday) to April 5 (Easter).

PCSO said selling of tickets and holding of draws will resume on April 6 (Monday).
The PCSO acting chairman and general manager, lawyer Jose Ferdinand Rojas 2nd, thanked all lotto players for their trust and confidence in the PCSO games.

“We count on your continued support of our efforts to raise funds for charity,” Rojas said.

Sir, TY & same to you… But how about those who bet for 1 week which dates included those from April 2 to April 5? Would it mean forfeiture of their stakes which is, for the least, P20 per draw?
