PDEA-3 seizes P6M ‘weeds’ in Pampanga


CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga: Central Luzon Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA 3) yielded the biggest haul in its drug sting operation with 60 kilos of marijuana worth P6-million and the arrest of three persons on Saturday in the city of San Fernando. PDEA 3 Regional Director Gladys Rosales identified those arrested as Melanio Flores, Israel Flores and Carlo Quiambao, all residents of Baliuag, Bulacan. The agents initially struck a deal with the suspects to buy 10 kilos of marijuana for P100,000 and met along Macarthur highway in Barangay San Agustin, City of San Fernando. About 43 bricks of marijuana, one bundle of weeds and the marked money were recovered in the operation. The suspects are detained at PDEA jail facility inside this camp.
