ILOILO CITY: Two sub-group leaders of the Odicta drug group under slain alleged druglord Melvin Odicta Sr., were arrested in separate operations here since Tuesday. Ken Mark Pineda, 29, reportedly a right-hand man of Odicta, was the first to fall in an entrapment on Sept. 20 while inside a van and selling shabu to a poseur buyer. His companion, Lindsay Kay Po of Las Piñas, Metro Manila, was also arrested. On Wednesday, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and Oton town police collared Marque Acap Sr., 45, in his house in Barangay Cagbang, with his son Marque Jr., and three other unidentified persons. Acap, who ranked No.4 in the drug list, was convicted for murder and served sentence at the New Bilibid Prison. He was released two years ago under parole and allegedly engaged in drug trafficking and became a trusted man of Odicta. Recovered during the operation at Acap’s house were 11 sachets of shabu, KG9 submachine gun, two magazines, 43 cartridges of .9mm pistol, a .38 revolver and 15 cartridges of caliber 38 revolver. The police also recovered a notebook containing the name “Colangco” with cellphone number, suspected to be that of the detained druglord Herbert Colangco.
