PDEA nabs 7, seizes drugs in Bacolod drug raid


BACOLOD CITY: The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency–Bacolod arrested seven suspects, including a minor, and seized 25 sachets with 30 grams of shabu valued at P150,000 in a raid on Wednesday night on a house in Barangay 2 here. Arrested in what the PDEA called as high-impact operation was Carlos Sonico,18, of Purok Cagaycay, Barangay 2. Also netted were Kiefer Salnac, 33; Wendyl Arcenio, 21; Ernie Magbanua, 37; Kerwin Hablero, 42; Wilfredo Diaz, 44; Anthony Cadungo, 33, owner of the house; and a 17-year-old boy who acts as runner of the suspects’ illegal drug operations. PDEA said Barangay 2 is a known lair of illegal drug operations in Bacolod City. The suspects are detained at the Police Station 2 facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
