• PDEA nets P375K shabu from Cotabato employee, cohort


    A local government employee and his cohort were arrested by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) with P375,000 worth of shabu during an entrapment in South Cotabato. PDEA Director General Isidro Lapeña identified the suspects as Eric Famoso, 27, a job order employee of Tampakan, South Cotabato and Mark Anthony Malan, 27, of Purok 5, also in Barangay Maltana. Seized during the operation were 11 sachets of shabu, weighing 50 grams, and assorted drug paraphernalia. Meanwhile, a village councilor of Barangay Paclasan, Roxas in Oriental Mindoro who moonlights as pusher, was also arrested by PDEA operatives recently. Lapeña identified the suspect as Edito Cezar, who handed over a sachet of shabu worth P1,500 to a poseur buyer.
