• PDEA opens C. Luzon office


    CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga: The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Central Luzon funded by the provincial government was inaugurated Monday which Director General Arturo Cacdac said will strengthen its anti-illegal drugs campaign. The P8 million funded building is located at the Government Center in Barangay Maimpis, this city. Governor Lilia Pineda, who graced the opening, also allocated additional fund for the purchase of new fixtures for the office and donated five (5) motorcycle units and one pick-up vehicle for the PDEA operations. Cacdac also revealed that the agency had more than 22,000 inter-agency anti-drug operations nationwide and has arrested 13,000 drug personalities last year; while 2,000 out of 17,000 drug personalities nabbed this year.
