A combined unit from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested an engineer and an alleged drug pusher during a search warrant implementation in Tagbilaran City, Bohol on Wednesday. PDEA Director Arturo Cacdac Jr. identified the suspects as Edgar Mosqueda, a 50-year-old mechanical engineer, and Abel Dalmao, 36, jobless. Both are residents of Maria Clara Street in Barangay Cogon, Tagbilaran City. Confiscated from Mosqueda were two pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu, eight rolled aluminum foils, two disposable lighters, and P390 in various denominations. Seized from Dalmao were 13 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately five grams, six pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu residue, one improvised tooter, one aluminum foil strip, one weighing scale, one improvised burner, and six disposable lighters. Mosqueda and Dalmao will be charged for violation of Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 12 (Possession of Equipment and Other Paraphernalia for Dangerous Drugs), Article II of RA 9165, or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
