PDEA search yields P250K worth of shabu in Camarines Norte

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and local police confiscated shabu, with an estimated street value of P250,000 during the implementation of a search warrant in Camarines Norte on August 6. PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo Cacdac Jr. said operatives of PDEA Regional Office 5 and the police arrested the suspect identified as Aries Carillo. The operation yielded one knot-tied plastic sachet containing shabu and an improvised tooter. A case for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 is being prepared against Carillo.

  1. Just read that this organization needs 500 agents to boost their actions. My opinion is we don’t need more agents. What we need is to educate, discipline and trained extensively the current agents to become more reliable and productive in their works. I suggest to removed those many undesirable ones.Proliferation of drugs will never be curtailed unless they themselves and other cohorts stops the business inside. The business starts from the inside and are just blind/deaf of the truth for personal reasons.Corruption is overwhelming in this field.Don’t you think so?
