Biliran, Biliran: Proving that it is work as usual even on special non-working holidays, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office VIII operatives traveled to Biliran island and brought back a suspected they arrested on drug pushing charges. Arrested at around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Barangay Busali, Biliran town was Eleodoro Suliva y Cerera, 28, and a self-employed entrepreneur, after he handed over a small transparent plastic sachet of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu to a PDEA agent disguised as poseur-buyer. After the giving of a pre-arranged signal that the transaction had been consummated, PDEA operatives on stand-by immediately swooped down on Suliva, who was too stunned to protest. The fact of his arrest was immediately announced and his Miranda rights were read in a language known to the suspect.
