The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) is opening its doors anew to those who aspire to become drug enforcement officers (DEOs).

“Once recruited, a DEO has an entry level position of Intelligence Officer 1 [IO1], a permanent item with Salary Grade 11 as well as opportunity to become part of the premier organization on drug law enforcement in the country. They are due to undertake a six-month comprehensive and regimented training program at the PDEA Academy, in Silang, Cavite,” Cacdac said.
Applicants should be 21-35 years of age and must meet the minimum height requirement—5’4” for male and 5’2” for female.
They must submit an application letter addressed to Cacdac, chief executive officer VI, together with the following requirements via mail or personally delivered to the nearest PDEA Regional Offices nationwide: two sets of personal data sheet, completely filled out; transcript of records (original/ authenticated); diploma (original/ authenticated; CSC Eligibility/ PRC Board Rating; clearances from Barangay, Police, Metropolitan Trial Court, Prosecutor’s, Regional Trial Court; Affidavit of Undertaking of Non-Pending Case; and Drug Test Result (one month prior to application).
