TALKS between the government and the communist movement are expected to resume next month, President Rodrigo Duterte said on Thursday night.
Speaking in Cebu before the newly elected barangay (village) chairmen of Central Visayas, Duterte reiterated his commitment to peace negotiations with communist rebels, even saying he had been talking with Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) founder Jose Maria Sison.
