Two pedestrians one of whom he had accidentally bumped on Monday afternoon in Surigao del Sur bludgeoned a motorcyclist to death, police reports said on Tuesday. Reports at the Philippine National Police operations center in Camp Crame identified the fatality as Manuel Salamo, 58, of Barangay Unaban in Tago, Surigao del Sur. The reports said Salamo was on his way home along the national highway of Barangay Unaban, Tago when he accidentally hit an unidentified pedestrian causing him to crash and sustain some injuries. A companion of the pedestrian hit took a hard object and struck Salamo on his head, causing him to fall down on the ground, the reports said. Salamo was subsequently brought by his relatives to the Adela Serra Ty Memorial Hospital for medical treatment, but was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending doctors.
