A selection of movies from “Película-Pelikula 2014,” this year’s Spanish Film Festival, will be shown in Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) movie cinematheques in Baguio, Iloilo, Zamboanga and Davao until November 23.
Since its conception by Instituto Cervantes in 2002, the Spanish Film Festival has been an annual attraction for Manila filmgoers. Thanks to the collaboration of FDCP, a selection of the festival’s 2014 films will be featured in said Philippine cities.
The line-up for the nationwide leg of Pelicula at the FDCP Cinematheques include following films: Mapa, Las aventuras de Tadeo Jones, El secreto de sus ojos, Un cuento chino, and also Soldados de Salamina, the film of David Trueba who was this year’s visiting Spanish director.
Película at the FDCP Cinematheques is presented by Instituto Cervantes, the Embassy of Spain, and FDCP.
