• Peterson returns to practice with Vikings

LOS ANGELES: Minnesota running back Adrian Peterson is officially back at practice with the Vikings after he was designated for return from injured reserve on Thursday. Peterson participated in walk-throughs Wednesday morning. He had said on Monday he would return to practice this week and hopes to play on Christmas Eve against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. The 31-year-old former NFL Most Valuable Player had been on injured reserve since having surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee suffered in a win over the Packers in the second week of the season.
