Petron Corp. will roll back prices of its liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) effective 12:01 a.m. Monday.
In an advisory, Petron said it will cut Gasul and Fiesta Gas prices by P1.20 per kilogram.
This translates to P13.02 per 11-kilogram of LPG.
It will also slash the price of Xtend AutoLPG by 65 centavos per liter.
The rollback reflects the drop in LPG contract prices for December.
Industry players said the recent drop in world crude prices on Friday will only affect local prices next week.
“The bigger drop in crude price happened only today so we have yet to consider the other days in the week. That price drop will thus affect us only in following week,” said Phoenix Petroleum assistant vice president for external affairs Raymond Zorilla.
He said that in case there will be adjustments, it will be felt in the following week.
“Retail price movements, if any, will thus be considered in in the ensuing week,” he said.
