PETRON Corp. has decided to slash its prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG)
effective 12:01 a.m. on November 1 (Saturday).
Petron said the reduction was set at P7 per kilo for Gasul and Fiesta gas, which translates into a P77 cut for an 11-kilo LPG cylinder.
The cut for Xtend AutoLPG was set at P3.91 per liter.
The rollback reflects the international contract price of LPG for the month of November, the company said.
Prior to the price cut, an 11-kilo LPG cylinder sold for a minimum of P640 up to P757 while auto-LPG was priced at P28.78 at least, up to P30.60 per liter.
On October 1, Petron reduced the price of its Gasul and Fiesta gas by 50 centavos per kilo and its Xtend AutoLPG by 28 centavos per liter following the movement of LPG prices on the global market.
