THE three big oil companies on Tuesday has implemented another round of oil price hike, the second movement for the month of December.
Based on their separate advisories late Monday evening, Pilipinas Shell, Chevron Philippines and Petron Philippines is set to raise the price by the pump on diesel by P.30 per liter and kerosene by P.55 per liter.
The adjustments have been effective at 6:00AM today (Tuesday).
Shell said that the scope does not cover stations in Bohol, Capiz, Aklan, Samar, Leyte while for Petron, the provinces of Aklan, Bohol, Leyte, and Samar will enjoy the price freeze.
The movement–according to Petron–reflects movements in the international oil market.
Other companies have yet to announce their respective movments as of press time.
Last December 3, oil firms jacked up prices across-the-board by increasing the price of diesel by P 1.35 per liter, kerosene by P1.20 per liter and gasoline byP.35 per liter. RUBEN D.MANAHAN 4TH
