Petron Corporation hiked its fuel prices effective 6:00 a.m. Tuesday.
In a text advisory, Petron said it increased gasoline price by 45 centavos per liter and 70 centavos per liter for diesel.
However, Petron noted that calamity-affected areas such as Aklan, Bohol, Leyte, and Samar are excluded in the oil price hike.
”This (price adjustment) reflects movements in the international market,” the oil company said.
As of November 19, prices of diesel ranged from P 39.70 to P 44.60 per liter while gasoline prices ranged from P 49.25 to P 53.40 per liter according to the energy department.
On the other hand, Total Corporation also announced its increase effective 6:00 a.m. Tuesday.
The oil company also increased 45 centavos per liter for gasoline and 70 centavos per liter of diesel.
Total said their price hike exclude the areas of Cebu, Liloan and Bogo. PNA
