PHILIPPINE Peugeot importer Eurobrands Distributor Inc. (EDI) announced plans it will build the Peugeot Technical Training Center in its Laguna International Industrial Park storage and pre-delivery inspection facility.
“After building an expansive dealership network that now sees Peugeot strategically located not just in Metro Manila but also throughout the entire country, EDI is committed to building the Peugeot Technical Training Center,” said EDI President Felix Mabilog Jr. “This is a very strong statement that Peugeot is here to stay.”
The Peugeot chief added; “While this facility is being built for the benefit of local Peugeot buyers, it will help expand the technical expertise not just of Filipino technicians but also eventually of technicians across the South East Asian region.”
With Peugeot dealerships mushrooming around the country, Filipino car buyers have already been assured of easy access to EDI’s premium product offerings—the 3008 crossover, 5008 compact MPV, 508 executive sedan, RCZ sports car, Expert Tepee family van and 208 GTi hatchback. EDI said Peugeot is the world leader in diesel technology and its products in the Philippines feature the company’s fuel-saving Micro-Hybrid system.
