THE importer of Peugeot in the Philippines, Eurobrands Distributor Inc. (EDI), bared it plans to continue staging its series of fuel-economy contests this year.
“We are extremely pleased at the results of our Eco Fun Run series last year,” said EDI Marketing Director Dong Magsajo. “Through the series, we have been able to prove the superior diesel technology of our products. The Peugeot 3008, in particular, which recorded an astounding 28.5 kilometers per liter in a run from Manila to Subic and back, showed that it has excellent fuel-saving capabilities.”
Magsajo added the Peugeot Eco Fun Run will include a provincial leg this year.
EDI said the Peugeot Eco Fun Run was conceptualized to prove the superior European-bred diesel technology that’s present in most Peugeots. The company noted that several new models featuring the same technology will be launched this year.
