THE International Basketball Federation (FIBA) suspended and fined 13 players from the Philippines and Australia and two coaches for their involvement in a brawl during the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) Asian Qualifiers last July 2 at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.
Roger Pogoy, Carl Bryan Cruz and Jio Jalalon were each suspended for five games each); Terrence Romeo, Jayson Castro, Andray Blatche and Troy Rosario, three games each; Japeth Aguilar and Matthew Wright, one game each; and Calvin Abueva, six games.
