The Philippine baseball team that won the gold medal in the 2011 Southeast Asian Games cried foul over alleged maltreatment by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC). Members of the team said that the PSC cut their monthly allowances and were told to vacate their quarters inside the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.

“The PSC is not giving our monthly allowances since January this year and now they are trying to remove us from our quarters inside the PSC,” 10-year veteran Jonash Rances Fulgencio Jr. told The Manila Times on Friday in a phone interview.
