ONCE again, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has downplayed the landing of a Chinese military cargo aircraft in Davao City, citing figures that several foreign planes have landed in the country for refueling purposes.

Col. Edgard Arevalo, AFP spokesman, stressed that the Ilyushin plane or the IL-76 of the Chinese Air Force abided by the procedures needed before making any landing on any airport in the country.
