The Philippines will try to curb its carbon emissions by 70 percent by 2030 under a plan submitted to the United Nations, Malacanang said on Thursday.
In a statement, Presidential Communications Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr. said the country’s carbon-curbing plan, approved by President Benigno Aquino 3rd, was turned over to the UN.
