The Philippines finished seventh overall with 16 golds, 17 silvers and 26 bronzes in the 8th Asean Para Games held in Singapore. The Filipinos fell to seventh as Myanmar copped one more silver on the final day to grab the sixth place with 16 golds, 17 silvers and 29 bronzes. Thailand ruled the medal board with 95 golds, 76 silvers and 79 bronzes followed by Indonesia (81-74-63), Malaysia (52-58-37), Vietnam (48-58-50) and Singapore (24-17-22). Brunei Darussalam placed eighth (3-3-6), Cambodia in ninth (1-2-6) and Laos in 10th (0-2-3). The Philippines failed to surpass its 20-gold, 19-silver, 21-bronze medal haul in the 2014 edition held in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar.
