AMID growing demand for hotel amenities, global hotel brands can find solutions for their needs at the upcoming Hotel Suppliers Show in Manila, which will bring together the biggest hotel suppliers in the country under one roof.
The Hotel Suppliers expo will be held September 24 to 26, 2015 at the ground floor of the SMX Convention Center at the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.
The Asia-Pacific hotel development pipeline comprises 2,312 hotels totaling 513,443 rooms, according to the March 2014 STR Global Construction Pipeline Report.
Organizers of the event said the Philippines leads the pack with 13,078 rooms of expected room growth. Add the government’s ambitious goal of 10 million foreign tourists by 2016, and an additional 37,000 rooms on top of the existing supply will be needed.
“This is our response to the volume of requirements needed by the domestic market – a one-stop shop sourcing platform to link up suppliers, developers, stakeholder, and buyers,” said Liza Hernandez, event chairman.
“From the front desk to the back of house, to the kitchens, to the furniture, and to housekeeping, Hotel Suppliers Show has it all covered,” Hernandez said.
A joint project of the Chamber of Furniture Industries of the Philippines (CFIP) and Global-Link Exhibitions Specialist, the Hotel Suppliers Show brings together a comprehensive show segmented into three areas: Design & Décor Philippines, Food & Beverage Suppliers Show, and Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment Philippines, to cater to the industry’s growing needs.
This year, the Philippine Chamber of Handicraft Exporters & Artisans, Inc. (PCHEAI), Department of Trade and Investments (DTI), and Philippine Exporters Federation Inc. (PhilExport) will be conducting the 2nd Philippine Homestyle Congress.

The organizers expect 250 industry stakeholders, government and association officials to be in attendance.
