The national poomsae [forms] team claimed two more gold medals on the final day of the prestigious 8th WTF (World Tae kwon do Federation) World Tae kwon do Poomsae Championships held at the Bali International Convention Center in Indonesia.
Veteran campaigner Mikaela Calamba sparked the country’s onslaught on Day 3 as she successfully defended her crown in the female individual freestyle event. It was her second-straight title after ruling the 7th edition held in Tunja, Colombia last year.
