THE Philippines, Indonesia and Japan will be hosting the 2023 International Basketball Federation (FIBA) World Cup after winning the bid beating out the Argentina and Uruguay, Malacañang announced on Sunday.
In a statement, Palace spokesman Harry Roque said the country’s hosting of the international sports competition would be a “great opportunity” for the Philippines.
