PH JOINS USA, ANGOLA, GREECE IN FIBA WORLD 17-UNDER CHAMPIONSHIP

The Philippine Youth Basketball Team under head coach Jamike Jarin will join United States, Greece and Angola in Group A, the 2014 FIBA World 17-Under Championship draw revealed on Thursday. The Philippines qualified in the world meet after finishing second behind China in the 2013 FIBA Asia Under-16 Championship. Japan, France, Canada, and Australia will play in Group B, Puerto Rico, United Arab Emirates and Spain is Group C while Argentina, Serbia, China and Egypt is Group D. The 2014 FIBA World 17-Under Championship is set on June 28 to July 6 in Dubai.
