Promising kegler Enrico Lorenzo Hernandez secured another silver for the Philippines in the 18th Asian Youth Tenpin Bowling Championships being held in Macau, China.
Hernandez placed second in the boys’ all-events category with a total score of 4,165 on 1,480 in singles, 1,349 on doubles and 1,336 on team events.
Muhammad Rafiq Ismail of Malaysia got the gold with 4,443 while Javier Tan of Singapore settled for bronze with 4,142.
Ivan Malig was 12th while Merwin Tan was 30th and Mitch Espinosa placed 45th.
In the girls’ all-events, Bea Hernandez was 28th, Jasha Jaron was 33rd, Angela Lazo was 34th and Bea Santarin was 36th.
It was Enrico Lorenzo’s third medal as he also wound up second in the singles event then connived with Malig in winning the doubles’ bronze medal.
Enrico Lorenzo and Malig gun for medal in the masters category since the Top 16 players in all-event are qualified in that event.
