Veteran campaigners Liza Del Rosario and Biboy Rivera are still in the top three spot after third block of the prestigious 2014 Bowling World Cup being held at the Sky Bowling Center in Wroclaw, Poland.
Del Rosario, a member of the gold medal trio team in the 2003 World Championships, scored 1,126 on 194, 258, 229, 232 and 213 to raise her output to 3,430, good for second place.
American Brittni Hamilton grabbed the lead following an impressive 225-227-238-245-237 showing in the third block.
Rebecka Larsen of Sweden is in third with 3,329 followed by Kaitlyn Commane of Australia (3,315), Clara Juliana Guerrero of Colombia (3,307), Martina Schutz of Germany (3,302), Jolanda Visser of the Netherlands (3,287), Sandra Gongora of Mexico (3,272), Dannie Hopcroft of England (3,247) and Daria Kovalova of Ukraine (3,247).
Rivera, for his part, improved a notch higher after rolling 1,128 (227, 215, 225, 236 and 225) in the third block to take the No. 3 spot with a total of 3,458 pinfalls.
He is 219 pins behind leader Tobias Bording of Germany (3,677) and 17 pins against second-placer Mykhaylo Kalika of Ukraine (3,475).
Magnus Johnson Jr. of Sweden earned the fourth spot (3,438), Steven Thornton of England in fifth (3,434), Chris Barnes of US in sixth (3,433), Romeo Gagenoiu of Romania in seventh (3,420), Oron Cohen of Israel in eighth (3,401), Dhruv Sarda of India in ninth (3,380), and Juhani Toteri of Finland (3,374) and Syafiq Ridhwan Abdul of Malaysia (3,374) in 10th.
The Top 24 after the final block scheduled today, will advance to the next round of the tournament sanctioned by the World Bowling Federation.
