• PH men’s U-23 team braces for Naypyitaw Championship


    The men’s under-23 national volleyball team has already left for Naypyitaw, Myanmar to compete in the 1st Asian Men’s Under-23 Volleyball Championship scheduled on May 13 to 20 at the Wunna Theikdi Sports Complex Hall. The Philippines is in Pool B along with powerhouse teams Iran, Qatar and India. Host Myanmar, Thailand, Maldives and Saudi Arabia are in Pool A; China, Taiwan, Vietnam and Australia in Pool C; and South Korea, Japan, Indonesia and Kazakhstan in Pool D. The Power Pinoys will open their campaign on May 13 against Qatar then India on May 14 and Iran on May 16.
