THE Philippines is seen as more engaged in blockchain technology than Western countries, an Australian commerce group said on Tuesday, a month before a Chinese-organized international blockchain summit and exhibition are to be held in Manila.

On the sidelines of the Australian Innovation Summit in Makati City, Ronald Tucker, founder and president of the Australian Digital Commerce Association, told reporters that the country was more open to the technology.
