The Philippines snagged its break-through win as it blanked Timor-Leste, 2-0, in the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Under-15 Youth Championship 2017 on Sunday at the Chonburi Campus Stadium 1 in Chonburi, Thailand.
The Boys’ Under-15 squad capitalized on Timor-Leste’s porous defense to score one goal in each half as it eclipsed the national youth team’s winless campaigns in the last two editions of the annual tournament.
