Phil Red Cross aids 11,000 patients during Undas


THE Philippine Red Cross (PRC) on Monday provided health assistance to over 11,000 patients nationwide as part of their annual “Oplan Kaluluwa” from October 31 to November 2. A total of 636 minor cases were recorded, which include cases of puncture wounds, dizziness, headaches, stomach pain, sprain, laceration, abrasion, shortness of breath, fainting, wound cleaning, hypoglycemia, and heart exhaustion. Meanwhile, PRC also recorded a total of 15 major cases, which include difficulty in breathing, vehicular accidents, diarrhea, lacerations, hypertension, and stabbing. A total of 310 first aid stations were set up in 277 cemeteries and memorial parks, 11 gasoline stations along major highways, 12 bus terminals, and 11 airports and sea ports.
