Already on its 42nd edition, Miss Globe is organized by Albania-based company Deliart Association, which aims to present the “true Albania, the ancient and beautiful country” through the beauty pageant.”
Also at the pageant’s official website, it is said that each contestant are not only beauty queens but also “cultural ambassadors” for they must come complete with “national dress, traditional cooking, traditional gifts, books of the state, folk song and dance, [and]tales and traditions . . .”
In August, BPFI announced at a press conference Colis’ participation at the pageant.
There, she expressed her excitement for it would be her first time to go out of the country, what more to represent her fellow Filipinos.
Colis then proved that she had what it takes to be an international beauty queen by besting over 30 other candidates from all over the globe.
Adjudged 1st runner-up was Miss Albania, followed by Miss Macedonia, 2nd runner-up, Miss China, 3rd runner-up, and Miss France, 4th runner-up.
Colis is a BS Management Accounting graduate at the University of Santo Tomas. Being a “cabalen”, she is natural food lover who can cook Filipino and Italian dishes.
