• Philippine National Under 19s captain Invited to New Zealand elite Rugby Union training camp


    The Philippine National Under 19s Rugby Union captain Kai Stroem has been invited to attend the International Rugby Academy New Zealand (IRANZ) Elite juniors training camp in New Zealand. The IRANZ high performance training camp is renowned as one of the world’s top level Rugby Union training centers. The IRANZ Academy invites All Black players and coaches to oversee the elite courses and the coaching staff. Kai recently captained the Philippine National Under 19s team in the Asian Championships, where they ranked 8th overall. At only 17, Kai has two more years to lead the National Under 19s team. Kai states that his main goals for attending the IRANZ course are to return and lead the Philippine National Underage team to a top four ranking in Asia and eventually become a Philippine Volcano with the Men’s National Team.
