ZAMBOANGA CITY: Three foreign missionaries who took part in a fact-finding investigation of alleged human rights abuses in southern Philippines had been detained by authorities, according to the United Methodist Church.
It said the three — Tawanda Chandiwana, Miracle Osman and Adam Shaw — were arrested in Mindanao and brought to a detention center in Taguig City, just outside the Philippine capital, Manila.
