The Philippines and Indonesia have reached an agreement regarding the delimitation of their overlapping exclusive economic zones (EEZ) in the Mindanao and Celebes Seas, marking a new chapter in the two countries’ commitment to ensure regional peace and stability, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said Monday.

The DFA said both sides have completed negotiations for the finalization of the text of the Agreement and the Chart on the EEZ Boundary.
