• PhilPost urges young Filipinos to write a letter to Pope Francis

THE Philippine Postal Corporation (PhilPost) on Tuesday urged young Filipinos to write a letter which will be given to Pope Francis when he visits the country next year. Postmaster General Ma. Josefina dela Cruz said the letters can be dropped at PhilPost mailboxes to be placed in major universities in Manila, Tacloban and Davao. She also announced the launching of a “moving exhibit” on November 3 at the SM Aura in Taguig City (Metro Manila) featuring John Paul II, John Paul VI, Benedict XVI and Francis—who are featured in PhilPost stamps. Pope Francis is scheduled to visit the Philippines from January 15 to 19 next year.
