Defending champion Francisco “Django” Bustamante posted two straight victories to advance to the semifinal of the 2014 Derby Classic Bigfoot 10-Ball Challenge being held in Elizabeth, Indiana in US.

The 50-year-old Bustamante outclassed Darren Appleton of Great Britain in the last 16, 11-8, then ousted American Earl Strickland in the quarterfinals, 11-7, to secure a spot in the Final Four.

In the semifinal, Bustamante will be facing American Shane Van Boening, who defeated John Morra of Canada in the quarterfinals, 11-10. Van Boening also beat Filipino Dennis Orcollo in the last 16, 11-8.
