The Philippine Under-16 National Football Team will be clashing with Myanmar in the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Under-16 Championship today at the Army Stadium in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The game is at 3:30 p.m. (Manila time).
The team currently holds a record of two draws and two losses in Group A with the young Filipino booters looking to end their campaign on a high note as the face the tough Burmese.
The Philippines absorbed a 1-3 loss to Singapore then held Malaysia to a 2-2 draw before suffering a 0-7 demolition at the hands of the Australians led by Mirza Muratovic who booted three goals in the lopsided affair.
Last week, the Philippine team held rivals Vietnam to a 3-3 draw at the Army Stadium.
Filipino youth star Fidel Tacardon headlined in his second impressive performance of the tourney with a brace performance spiked by his opening strike from the penalty spot in the 73rd minute.
Leo Gabriel Maquiling also scored in the match with a conversion in the 27th minute of the ball game.
