Pinoy jins bag 56 medals in Vietnam tilt


The national junior tae kwon do team would up second overall in the 12th Asean Tae kwon do Federation Championships held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Philippines won 21 golds, 26 silvers and nine bronzes in the tournament participated by more than 300 jins from 10 countries. Vietnam topped the medal board with 49 golds, 29 silvers and 19 bronzes while Malaysia ended up third with five golds, nine silvers and 18 bronzes. The Filipino jins will be competing next in the 2015 Asian Junior Championships in Taipei, Taiwan this month and the Southeast Asian Games in SIngapore in June.
