Five Filipino cue masters are in the Top 20 of the season ending moneymaker list of Az Billiards.
Former world champion Dennis Orcollo took the No. 3 spot with $90,575 prize money. Majority of his earnings came from the Derby City Classic tournament in US where he pocketed the top purse of $20,000 in the Master of the Table, $10,000 in the 9-Ball Banks Division and $3,300 in the 14.1 Challenge.
He also dominated the US Open One Pocket 2014 ($5,700), Jay Swanson Memorial 2014 ($3,000) and 5th Hard Times 10-Ball Open ($3,000).
Legendary cue artist Efren ‘Bata’ Reyes was eighth with $54,000 and Francisco “Django” Bustamante at 11th with $46,214.
Also in the list were No. 16 Jeffrey Ignacio ($40,250) and No. 18 Warren Kiamco ($36,590).
American Shan Van Boening gabbed the top spot with a whopping $176,960 followed by Darren Appleton of England with $118,824.
In the No. 4 was Thorsten Hohmann of Germany ($88,360), No. 5 Niels Feijen of the Netherlands ($78.319), No. 6 Gareth Potts of England ($58,150), No. 7 Karl Boyes of England ($55,768), No. 9 Chang Yu-Lung of Taiwan ($49,000) and No. 10 American Justin Bergman ($47,220).
